 Al Mirfa is a coastal town on the Arabian Gulf,
located in the western part of the Abu Dhabi
Emirate and is 170 km away from it towards Al-Sila’,
connected to Abu Dhabi through a paved road.
The population of Al Mirfa and neighboring areas
is estimated at 15,000 most of who work as
fishermen, the ancient vocation from time
immemorial. Others are employed by the various
governmental agencies. The town of Al Mirfa is
considered the center of the western area.
